Owners Brandt & Gabrielle Gould are thrilled to bring you

20 years ago I left Boston and brought Cambridge Street to Nantucket. I am happy to be returning to the kitchen as Chef/Owner of ATLAS alongside my wife, partner and favorite person in the world, Gabrielle who joined me at Cambridge Street after years of managing restaurants in NYC. We worked seamlessly together until we sold the business in 2006 to focus on our 4 kids and other pursuits. After 8 years we are back with new concepts and energy. We found the perfect fit when on a cold day this past March we walked into 130 Pleasant St. We sat down in that empty space, legs akimbo, on the hard wood floors and started to sketch, plan and talk about food and setting. The excitement grew and before we knew it we were printing out opening menu ideas, signing a lease and getting to work! We redesigned the space, tore down walls, built a new bar and created a space that we believe will bring you in, sets the vibe for comfort in style and delivers an ambiance that you can enjoy with your family on any evening, on date night (first or 200th) or with your greatest friends. Our goal has been to create a place that we would want to eat and drink at.

ATLAS offers an approachable and dynamic atmosphere with focus on the freshest smoked and grilled meats, fish and vegetables. The menu features my authentic barbecue, grilled whole fish selections and vegetarian options all with bold clean flavors. Gabrielle's desserts are straight from her kitchen and made with a lot of love and passion for the sweet things life has to offer. Everything is made from scratch daily, no corners cut!

The ATLAS bar focus is on classic cocktails done right with some hand made touches that are sure to delight. The wine list, created by Gabrielle, is small and meticulously considered with wines that you will not find elsewhere: small label, biodynamic, sustainable and a high % of certified organics along with a superb craft beer selection. Stellar cocktails, great bartenders and a fantastic ambiance - this is ATLAS.

We look forward to seeing you at ATLAS!
